Weston Pond, Holliston

Weston Pond is a small body of water in the southwest corner of town, held
in place by a dam located just north of Washington Street. People fish in
the pond, and clear off the ice in the winter for skating. The way it shone
on this June morning made me want to pretend that it's a secret peaceful
place much further out in the country than it really is, and not all hemmed
in by roads and power lines.
